Starting the Missing Pablo Quest
To begin the mission, head to the Serling Hotel located on Ocean Avenue later in the main campaign. Interact with the notice board near the doctor's office to pick up the missing person poster. This action officially updates your journal and points your search toward Venice Beach.
Fast travel to the Blue Crab safehouse in Venice Beach to start your investigation. Your primary initial goal is to locate Rose Tattoo's parlor along the main thoroughfare. Inside the parlor, search carefully to find the first written clue regarding Pablo's movements.
Investigating Muscle Beach Nutrition
The clue from the tattoo shop leads directly toward Muscle Beach Nutrition next to the local gym area. Upon arrival, you will discover that the store's rear shutters are completely powered down. Restoring power requires finding a functional circuit breaker in the nearby area.
Head over toward Venice Autos or the parking booth near the Blue Crab to grab a breaker. Plug the unit into the exterior socket, then interact with the switch to lift the security gate. Eliminate the zombies waiting inside to safely retrieve the second note, titled Protein Please.
Tracking Pablo to Gang Green Dispensary
Reading the second note reveals that Pablo attempted to buy supplies at a local weed dispensary called Gang Green. Travel north along the boardwalk area until you locate the storefront adjacent to the ice cream shop. The front entrance is locked, requiring a key held by a specific elite zombie named Doc Marin roaming nearby.
Defeat Doc Marin and his undead companions to claim the dispensary key. Unlock the back door while keeping an eye out for tripwire booby traps set inside. Following the blood trail across the floor will lead to the final clue, which concludes the quest and reveals Pablo's tragic fate.
